Town manager
Henri-Paul Guignard is the town manager for the Town of Lamèque since April 22nd, 1977.
Born on September 28th, 1952, he has an older brother and four sisters.
He has a bachelor’s degree in applied sciences (industrial engineering) from the Université de Moncton, obtained in 1977.
He is and has been involved in many community projects as the Ecological Park of the Acadian Peninsula and the Lamèque Wind Energy Project.
Over the years, Henri-Paul Guignard has seen Lamèque grow and become a social and economic force in the Acadian Peninsula due to the involvement of many of its residents and businesses.
Henri-Paul Guignard is married to Danielle Mallet since 1973 and they are the proud parents of a son and two daughters.
